FilterMinder
The next step on from our filter exchange calculator, FilterMinder is a database driven solution to track individual filter exchange dates based on your estimated water usage and the actual local water hardness conditions.
You'll receive timely reminders from us of which units need to be replaced, and when, allowing you to place an order and schedule the work when it's most convenient.
Our aim is not to get you to change your filters more often (though that may be the consequence in some cases). Our aim is to help you get maximum benefit and value from your investment by changing each filter only as and when required.
How does it work?
You can enter the data yourself online (or send it to us to do for you). The system takes account of the local water hardness at the site where the filter was installed, the model of filter, demand on the unit and the date it was installed. It then calculates the expected exchange date and creates a record in our database.
An automatic reminder is then generated ahead of the expected swap-out date which is sent to the designated contact for that site.
If the throughput on the machines changes, it can be changed online in FilterMinder, and a new exchnage date is calculated.
Once you've replaced a filter, update the install date in FilterMinder and the next exchange date is calculated automatically and future reminders will be sent based on the new date. It's as simple as that!
What about confidentiality?
If you don't want us to know where all your sites are that's fine. Just give us a reference by which we can refer to each site, so that you know which one we're talking about when we send our reminders, and you need never give us your sensitive customer information. The only thing we really need to know about your customer site is the postcode, so that we can calculate the filter life.
Of course if you want to, we can send the reminder directly to your customer (to place an order on you for a filter exchange) - the database will track individual contact names and numbers for each site.
