Becktech is the authorised distributor to both the UK vending and coffee markets and we supply the full range of BRITA® Professional filters. To enable you to get the very best quality and performance from your machine, Becktech has developed a unique online filter exchange calculator to enable coffee and vending operators to calculate the optimum exchange interval for their filters based on local water hardness and water usage.

Chip-activated filters

Launched in May 2005 by Amia Foods, the Rehydration Zone system and the Del Monte Fruit Drinks dispense system both use an electronic micro-chip on the BRITA® filter that activates the machine to accept the filter. The machines then displays a warning two weeks or 100 litres before the next filter needs to be installed, to ensures that each drink receives the optimal filtration level.
