The comprehensive range of flow control devices from Aquatec offer solutions to a number of common problems, such as automatic or on demand pump activation, leak detection and monitoring the effectiveness of filters.

These switches, typically mounted near a hydropneumatic holding tank, automatically activate/deactivate an electric system pump and solenoid valve as required. They can also be used to enable hydraulic shut-off valves to operate reliably and positively.

Aquatec’s stand-alone pressure transducers offer true linear pressure sensing capabilities in an economical, compact and yet surprisingly robust housing. These transducers can be used with a digital display, connected to a circuit board, or directly to a controller card.

Aquatec’s electronic shut-off valves are normally closed, precision solenoid valves that positively shut off feed water. They are activated by a pressure switch to either open or close at predetermined holding tank pressure settings.

Aquatec’s tank level controllers monitor fluid levels using multiple sensors attached to a non-metallic holding tank. The TLC Series utilizes a switch/valve combination which automatically shuts off feed water at a predetermined ‘full level’ and then reopens the integral feed water valve at a second ‘refill level’.

Aquatec’s AFR series was specifically engineered to maximize system efficiency and prolong membrane life. The component utilizes a normally closed solenoid valve which automatically ‘power flushes’ the membrane upon start-up and then subsequently for 15-20 seconds every hour.

The leak detection sensor (LDS) monitors one or more sensors which are placed in the projected path of leaking water. Whenever water is detected, the LDS valve closes and the auxiliary output is de-energized. The LDS is strong enough to open or close against pressures up to 100 psi.
